Privacy Notice

BeePro Cosmetics is a sole trader business trading as BeePro Cosmetics. We are the data controller for the personal data described below, which means we decide why and how it is used. Contact us at hello@beeprocosmetics.com for any privacy question.

• Account details — your email address, and your name and photo if you sign in with Google. Used to create and secure your account and to contact you about it. Lawful basis: contract.
• Subscription status — the plan, renewal date and whether you have cancelled, passed to us by our payment provider. Used to give you access and to tell you when payment needs your attention. Lawful basis: contract.
• Camera images and scan results — analysed in memory at the moment of the scan and then discarded. Used only to produce your result. We do not store them. Lawful basis: contract.
• Optional preferences — skin type, ingredients to avoid, preferred finish and anything else you choose to type. These are held in memory for that visit only and are never saved. Lawful basis: consent.
• Technical data — device type, browser, IP address and basic usage information. Used to keep the Service working, to prevent abuse and fraud, and to understand what to improve. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — anything you email us. Used to answer you and resolve problems. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and, where relevant, legal obligation.

We never collect payment card details ourselves. Your card, Apple Pay or Google Pay credentials are handled entirely by our payment provider.

• Our hosting, code and analytics providers, who run the website for us under contract.
• Our artificial intelligence provider, which analyses a camera image at the moment of the scan and does not retain it.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
• Police, courts or regulators, where we are required by law to disclose information.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Some of our providers operate outside the UK and EEA. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on contractual safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Account and subscription details are kept while you are a member, and afterwards only as long as tax and company law requires. Support messages are kept while your query is open and for a short period afterwards. Camera images and scan results are not retained at all — they are erased as soon as your result is produced, and everything in memory is gone when you turn the camera off or leave the page.

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your data, or to stop using it in a particular way.
• Move your data to another provider.
• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for use.
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

Email hello@beeprocosmetics.com to use any of these rights. We respond within one month. Signing out and deleting your account removes your account data; a small record may remain where the law requires it.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: the connection between your device and the Service is encrypted in transit, access to systems and databases is restricted to people who need it, and the design deliberately avoids keeping your images or scan results at all.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to make the Service work. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop the Service from working.

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We update this notice when our practices change and will post the new date at the top of this page.
